The film experiment you ought to be part of!
Each month, we gather 4 – 5 filmmakers to film 1 – 1.30 minute segments towards a short film. Given a slot within the month, they have 4 – 7 days to complete their segment. The catch? Each filmmaker can only view the previous segment in order to continue the story, not all the completed segments. Once each filmmaker in the group have completed their segment, it will be compiled together and premiered for the filmmakers to watch for the first time at our next screening. Not only do the audience not know what to expect next, but neither do the filmmakers, and that’s the beauty of the experiment. Will the final version make sense? Is there a consistent theme throughout? These are the questions participants are all itching to find out.
This experiment is based on the Exquisite Corpse surrealist drawing game that you probably did at school. Watch the video below that best explains the Exquisite Corpse.
