After hiding under a blanket for 2021, Kino Kabaret is back!!! It’s intense. It’s fun. And it’s the best way to dive into short filmmaking.

What is it?
The aim of Kabaret is to make as many short films as possible in 48 hours. It is (usually) an annual event undertaken by most Kino chapters worldwide. Whether you are a novice or a professional, there is something for everyone at a Kabaret.
When is it?
June 3 – 6. The schedule for Kino Sydney Kabaret June 2022 is about allowing those involved to get comfy with each other before diving into the creative maelstrom that will ensue. To that end, the schedule goes like this:
MEET
Friday June 3rd, 7:00pm – 10:00pm

Meet up for a pre-production meeting and a speed networking session. You can form into teams and studio time will be allocated for the weekend.
SHOOT & EDIT
Saturday 4th and Sunday 5th, 9am – 10pm

How Much?
Directors, Cast & Crew – $80. This covers studio access for 2 days and admission to the screening.
